1. Petitioner before us is the husband.

2. Materials in the case diary suggest that the petitioner was involved in the assault as also torturing his wife on demand for dowry.

3. Considering the materials in the case diary and the gravity of the offence, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

5. C.R.M. (A) 1263 of 2024 is dismissed.
