AGP (Via VC) Ms. Pratiti Das ... for the State Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities particularly with regard to the information furnished with the Superintendent of Police, Krishnagar Police District.

Learned Advocate for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that Kotwali Police Station Case No. 323/25 has already been registered for investigation.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner is not with regarding to the registration of the case but relating to the some of the accused being released because of the nature of investigation carried out and also the petitioner being threatened at the behest of the

accused persons. In view of the present status of the case, petitioner is directed to approach the learned Jurisdiction Magistrate narrating the series of events relating to the threats of the accused persons. The learned Magistrate will call for a threat perception report from the Investigating Officer or the concerned Officer-in-Charge of Kotwali Police Station and after consideration of the same pass necessary directions under the Witness Protection Scheme, 2018.

Petitioner, if so advised will also be at liberty to approach the jurisdictional court for addressing the grievance relating to the bail already granted to the accused persons.

With the aforesaid observations WPA No.

9318 of 2025 stands disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the Server Copy of this order duly downloaded from the Official Website of this Court.
