The writ petition is disposed of on the basis of the submissions of Mr. Islam, learned advocate for the State respondents. The document in support of such contention is taken on record. It appears that the Directorate of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance has advised the Treasury Officer, Ranaghat that the petitioner would be entitled to the revised benefits under ROPA 2019.

It is expected that the entire formality shall be completed within a period of four weeks and necessary orders shall be passed in respect of releasing the revised benefits under ROPA 2019. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order (Shampa Sarkar, J.)
