The petitioner seeks transfer of the proceeding being Special Case (POCSO) 72 of 2023 pending before the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, 2nd Courtcum-Special Judge (under POCSO Act) at Balurghat, Dakshin Dinajpur to any other Court.

Learned counsel for the State suggests that the proceeding may be transferred to Malda District Court, which is about 110 k.m. from Dakshin Dinajpur District Court and has good connectivity.

The petitioner is agreeable to the said proposal. In view of the above, the proceeding of Special Case (POCSO) 72 of 2023 pending before the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, 2nd Court-cum-Special Judge (under POCSO Act) at Balurghat, Dakshin Dinajpur be transferred to the District & Sessions Judge, Malda for disposal.

Copy of the order be sent to the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, 2nd Court-cum-Special Judge (under POCSO Act) at Balurghat, Dakshin Dinajpur and the learned District & Sessions Judge, Malda for information and compliance.

The revisional application is disposed of.
