No. 29 KAUSHIK REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 1648 of 2023 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Tehatta Police Station Case No. 505 of 2022 dated 21.06.2022 under Sections 420/406/409/506/120B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

And In Re : Subhojit Ghosh ...... petitioner Mr. Sujoy Sarkar Mr. Rahul Chachan ....for the petitioner Mr. Rudradipta Nandy Ms. Sonali Das Ms. Sreeparna Das ....for the State Materials in the case diary suggest that, the petitioner was involved in collecting money from the public on the basis of certain schemes.

In such circumstances, considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1648 of 2023 is dismissed.
