Datta Mr. Pradipta Ganguly Mr. Santanu Deb Roy .....For the State The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition as per Rules within one week of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The petitioner says that because of a confusion the petitioner was found absent on a date when the criminal trial was fixed. The petitioner says that since the order granting bail to the petitioner made it mandatory for the petitioner to attend every date fixed for trial, the petitioner's bail has been cancelled. No satisfactory reason has been furnished for the petitioner not being present before the trial court on the relevant date. In any event, as the State submits, the trial has reached an advanced stage.

The petitioner's prayer is declined at this stage.

CRM. 6252 of 2020 and the interim application therein stand disposed of.
