Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been implicated on the basis of the statement of the co-accused and nothing was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Mr. Rana Mukherjee, learned advocate for the State points out that although there has been no recovery in this case but there has been recovery of commercial quantity of contraband from the possession of the petitioner. Having taken into account that charges under Section 29 of the NDPS Act are there in this case and considering that in similar offences the petitioner is also facing trial which is at a matured stage, we are not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is

rejected.

The application for bail being CRM 6253 of 2020 and CRAN 4766 of 2020 are disposed of.
