1. Affidavit-of-service filed be kept with the record.

2. It appears that the annual return of the petitioner herein has not been accepted by the respondent no. 3. As the issue was not resolved, the petitioner herein has preferred a representation before the respondent no. 3 on 03.02.2026. It is submitted that till date his grievance has not been addressed by the said authority concerned.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the State places a copy of an order dated 23.03.2026, issued vide Memo No. 14-C wherein it appears that the Registrar of Trade Unions Mr.

Sandip Nandi, Additional Labour Commisisoner was on

tour to North Bengal from 18.03.2026 to 24.04.2026.

4. It appears that the officer as per the said order shall now be available to consider the prayer of the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the Registrar of Trade Unions, the respondent no. 3 and in case the regular officer is not available, the officer-in-charge of the Registrar of Trade Unions, shall consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.02.2026, within a period of six weeks from the date of this order by giving a hearing to the respective parties and shall consider and dispose of the said representation by passing a reasoned order, in accordance with law.

6. WPA 9737 of 2026 is disposed of.

7. Connected application, if any, stands disposed of.

8. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
