Report submitted by the Inspector-in-Charge, Lake Town Police Station through Mr. Arijit Ganguly, learned advocate appearing for the State, be kept with the record. Report reflects that the petitioner was released on bail on 12.07.2017 as per direction of the learned Special Executive Magistrate, Bidhannagar Court.
The proceedings were initiated under Section 110 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. In case within a period of six months the prosecution could not submit satisfactory explanation for not commencing and completing the evidence from the date of first production of the accused, the learned Special Executive Magistrate is directed to drop the proceedings.
With the aforesaid observations, CRR 1125 of 2017 is disposed of.
Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
