04. 09 . 2020 CRM 6265 of 2020 With CRAN 4778 of 2020 (Via Video Conference) BP/BR Sl.28 In re: An application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

In the matter of : Amirul Ali @ Haque .. ...petitioner Mr. Angshuman Chakraborty ..for the petitioner.

Mr. Arijit Ganguly Mr. Sanjib Kumar Dan ..for the State.

learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for about 470 days and after the chargesheet has been submitted there has been no progress.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and draws the attention of this court in the statement of the victim.

We have taken into account the materials on record including the statement of the victim and we are of the opinion that the petitioner cannot be favoured with an order for bail at this stage till the evidence of the victim before the trial court is over.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. The application for bail being CRM 6265 of 2020 and CRAN 4778 of 2020 are disposed of.
