There are statements of the injured recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.) as well as the 164 Cr.P.C. statements of the eye witnesses, implicating both the petitioners in the incident of assault. Consequently, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1651 of 2023 is dismissed.
