Ms. Neelam Singh ... for the State-Respondent(s) Re The petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved by the steps taken by the Officer-in-charge of Illambazar Police Station pursuant to the information furnished on or about 20.03.2024.

As none appears on behalf of the State, Ms.

Neelam Singh, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, is directed to appear on behalf of the State. Her appearance may be regularized by the concerned authority.

Having regard to the time period which has elapsed in the meantime, I direct that in case the petitioner is aggrieved, she would file a fresh

representation before the Officer-in-charge of Illambazar Police Station. If no steps are subsequently taken by the concerned Officer-in-charge, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach the learned jurisdictional Magistrate in respect of the relief(s) prayed for. The learned Magistrate would assess regarding the correctness of the accusations and, thereafter, pass necessary directions as it deems fit and proper.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 9981 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
