Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the victim suffered fractured injuries. She refers to the statement of the victim recorded under Section 161 of the Criminal Procedure Code. She submits that the victim attributes specific role to the petitioner as the assailant. Considering the gravity of the offence and involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
