Petitioner seeks approval of grade pay.

Petitioner applied for such approval. The petitioner is yet to receive the grade pay.

The respondent nos. 5 and 6 are represented.

In the facts of the present case, it appears that the petitioner applied for fixation of grade pay. The school authorities sent such application to the appropriate authority for consideration. The appropriate authority is yet to take a decision thereon.

In such circumstances, the respondent no. 2 will consider and decide the application for fixation of grade pay so far as the petitioner is concerned as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. The respondent no. 2 will communicate its decision to the petitioner forthwith thereafter. Needless to say that, the respondent no. 2 will provide reasons for the decision he may take. WPA 6849 of 2020 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
