Mr. Prasayan Mukherjee ...for the petitioner Mr. Suman Ghosh Mr. Sankha Prasad Roy ...for the State Respondents Petitioner is aggrieved as the information furnished to the police authorities on 20th March, 2025 and 8th April, 2025 were not acted upon. Additionally it has been contended that the petitioner is unable to return along with its family members because of the atrocities inflicted by the private respondents.

State has submitted a report which reflects that on the basis of the information so furnished Rajapur PS Case No. 113/25 dated 26.04.2025 has been registered for investigation and two of the accused persons namely Sk. Harun Rashid and Mokim Mallick were arrested.

Primarily, so far as the issue of registration of FIR is concerned the same has been sub-served as

the police authorities have acted on the information so furnished.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has his own residence which is separated from the private respondents but they are unable to enter their vicinity as the private respondents are abusing their influence. In view of the aforesaid if the petitioner approaches the police authorities, the police authority would ensure that in case the petitioner and their family members return to their home no untoward incident should result and the police authority would oversee that no breach of peace and/or tranquility takes place because of the petitioner and his family members staying at their residence.

With the aforesaid observations WPA No.

9250 of 2025 stands disposed of.
