Petitioners are aggrieved that inspite of the information furnished on 14.04.2025 with the police authorities which included the Officer-in-Charge, Shyampur Police Station as well as Superior Officers, no steps have been taken by the concerned authorities ensuring the petitioners' protection so that he can stay at his own house unhindered from any interference by the private respondents.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that in the land referred to in the writ petition government work is being done. However, there is a land dispute for which separate application is pending before the Coordinate Bench.

Having considered that the petitioners' main thrust is on issues relating to security, I direct that in case the petitioners is faced with any inconveniences,

petitioner will bring the same to the notice of the Officerin-Charge of Shyampur Police Station who would ensure that there is no breach of the peace and/or tranquility and/or any untoward incident resulting from the strained relationship existing between the petitioners and the private respondent nos. 5 to 8.

In case the petitioners do not receive any cooperation they would report to the SDPO, Uluberia who would then use his good office for ensuring that the Officer-in-charge of Shyampur Police Station acts in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 9415 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
