And In the matter of : Gangadhar Mahali ...... petitioner Mr. Arindam Sen, Mr. Sandeep Prasad Shaw, Ms. Munmun Dalapati ....for the petitioner Md. Anwar Hossain, Ms. Ratna Ghosh ....for the State The injury is classified as grievous hurt. The injury suffered deep injury to the neck as also on the cheeck. Considering the gravity of the offence and involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
