For the State Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner and the report submitted by the State are taken on record. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's husband is in the Indian Army and posted at Ladakh. The petitioner resides with her two year old son in the property in question. The petitioner alleges that the private respondents who belong to the ruling political dispensation are threatening to evict her from her property and are obstructing her ingress and egress for which she is compelled to reside elsewhere. Her life and liberty are at stake and the private respondents are also trying to take a water pipeline through her land without her consent. Learned counsel for the private respondents submits that the private respondents are co-owners in respect of plot no. 413.

The dispute between the parties appears to be civil in nature. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate civil forum for redressal of her grievance. In the meantime, the police authority shall keep strict vigil over the area in order to avoid any untoward incident and maintain peace and tranquility. The police shall render

necessary assistance and protection to the petitioner as and when required.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
