Debnath ...for the o.p. nos.1 to 5 A direction to secure expeditious disposal of pending appeal no.12 of 2018, pending before the Municipal Building Tribunal, Kolkata Municipal Corporation, is the ultimate relief sought for in this case.

Adverting to copy of order passed earlier in W.P. No.526 of 2018, Mr. Banerjee, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that there has been a previous direction for expeditious disposal of the appeal, but till date the same has not been given effect to in true sense.

Mr. Debnath, learned advocate appearing for the opposite party nos.1 to 5 does not raise any objection against expeditious disposal of pending appeal. No other point is raised requiring address by this Court.

Accordingly, learned Judge of Municipal Building Tribunal, Kolkata Municipal Corporation in Appeal No.12 of 2018 is requested to ensure expeditious disposal of the appeal, providing sufficient opportunity of hearing to either of the parties to this case, bearing in mind that there has been a previous direction of this Court passed in W.P. No.526 of 2018, without granting any unnecessary adjournment, unless it is extremely unavoidable, preferably within a period of one year from the date of communication of this order. With this observation/direction, the revisional application stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photostat copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible on compliance of all necessary formalities. (Subhasis Dasgupta, J.)
