Mr. Phatick Chandra Das ..for the Petitioner The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the failure of the municipal authorities to supply drinking water to the petitioner. The petitioner relies on a representation appearing at pages 28 and 29 of the petition.

Despite notice, none appears on behalf of the respondents.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, I think, it is expedient that the respondent authorities should consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner appearing at pages 28 and 29 of the petition within a period of two weeks from date of communication of this order. The respondent will communicate the result of the representation to the petitioner within one week thereafter.

The petitioner is directed to forthwith communicate this order to the respondents.

It is made clear that nothing in this order will influence the respondent authorities in considering and disposing of the representation of the petitioner. With the aforesaid directions, WPA No. 6878 of 2020 is disposed of.
