Petitioner submits there was a prior dispute between the husband of the victim and the petitioner. He has been falsely implicated. Accordingly, he prays for bail. 2.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer.

We have considered the materials on record.

Statement of the victim discloses petitioner had dragged her into a jungle, assaulted her and raped her. Report shows multiple injuries on the victim and trial is in progress. 4.

Under such circumstances, we are of the opinion this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. 5.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
