Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. The petitioner and the private respondent no.6 are mother and elder son respectively who have a family feud. Both of them are residing at the same premises. Petitioner is apprehensive that she may be thrown away from the residence.

Learned advocate appearing for the respondent no.6 submits that there are major discrepancies in the enclosures to the writ petition. State has submitted a report which reflects that there is hardly any scope for the police to interfere.

In case the petitioner is faced with further inconvenience, petitioner will approach before the appropriate authority under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. In the meantime, the police authorities would keep their surveillance and ensure that no breach of the

peace or tranquility takes place at the locale and/or any untoward incident results because of the strained relationship presently existing within the family.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 9447 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
