1. Petitioner before us is the husband. Medical report suggests that he assaulted his wife. Materials in the case diary suggest that there are demands for dowry as also torture meted out to the wife.

2. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

4. C.R.M. (A) 1285 of 2024 is dismissed.
