Mr. Sandipan Maity Sk. Saifuddin ...for the petitioner Mr. Amitabh Shukla ..for WBSEDCL The petitioner seeks a new electricity service connection for his submersible pump set.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the technical formalities required for the electricity connection have not yet been fulfilled by the petitioner. Specifically, the construction of the meter board remains incomplete, and the petitioner has also not finished the boring work necessary for the installation of the pump set.

In light of the foregoing, I direct the petitioner to complete the requisite technical formalities and notify WBSEDCL accordingly. Upon receipt of such communication, if WBSEDCL is satisfied that the petitioner has duly complied with the technical formalities, the electricity connection shall be provided

within a period of two months from the date of this order, subject to the petitioner's compliance with any additional formalities, if required.

Accordingly, WPA 9138 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
