1. The matter pertains to retiral dues of the petitioner.

2. the municipality has filed a report. As per the aforesaid report, a sum of Rs.9,28,935/- is due and payable to the petitioner on account of arrear pension which includes the revision of pension under ROPA-2019. The particulars of the amount due have also been enclosed to the report. Let a copy of the aforesaid report be made over to the learned advocate for the petitioner, who is present in Court today.

3. Having regard to the disclosures made by the municipality, I am of the view that the municipality must disburse the admitted amount of Rs.9,28,935/- within 3 weeks from the date of communication of this order.

4. In the event the aforesaid amount is not paid within the aforesaid period, the municipality shall pay an interest @ 10% per annum from the date when the same became due till such time the same is actually paid.

5. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the instant writ petition is disposed of.

6. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
