Petitioner has approached this Court being 22.07.2025 Court No. 35 M/L. No.816 Rakib aggrieved that in spite of direction passed upon the Inspector-in-Charge, Khatra Police Station for maintaining peace and tranquility and also keeping a strict vigil, the police authorities have failed to adhere to such directions.

Record reflects that the petitioner is a senior citizen who approached the S.D.O., Khatra by way of Maintenance case no. 01/M-SDO(K)/2023.

Having considered that the directions have been passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Khatra, Bankura under the relevant provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, I direct that in case further directions are passed by the S.D.O. Khatra, Bankura, the police authorities would respect, obey and implement the said order in accordance with the direction so passed as also in consonance with the provision of the Act.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 10048 of 2024 is disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
