Supplementary affidavit filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

It is submitted by the learned advocate representing the petitioner that respondent nos.4 to 7 are illegally occupying land of the petitioner. Prayer is made in this writ petition for giving direction upon the concerned police authority which would prevent the respondent nos.4 to 7 from occupying said land of the petitioner.

State respondents and respondent nos.4 to 7 are represented by learned advocates.

Learned advocate representing the respondent nos.4 to 7 disputes the submission made on behalf of the petitioner.

If petitioner is aggrieved by the illegal occupation of land by the respondent nos.4 to 7, in that event, petitioner needs to approach Civil Court in pursuit of remedy.

Police authority is not the appropriate authority to decide inter se right of the parties over the land in question.

However, concerned police authorities are directed to maintain peace and tranquility at the locale and to see no untoward incident takes place.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
