The revisional application was preferred for transferring the proceedings relating to G.R. Case No.2860 of 2019 (which is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Howrah) and complaint case No.243 of 2019 (which is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Alipore, South 24 Parganas). The reasons so assigned by the petitioner for preferring the transfer are not adhering to the basis principles of law and are in the nature of general or routine contentions. Mr. Roy, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer so advanced on behalf of the petitioner and submits that if the jurisdiction of the court has been rightly invoked, the same cannot be to the detriment of the other party who has set the criminal law into motion.

No interference is called for in respect of the prayer so advanced.

Accordingly, CRR 1271 of 2021 is dismissed.

Pending application, if any, is consequently dismissed.
