After hearing the submission of the respective parties, this writ petition is disposed of with the following orders.
The petitioner is a student of History (Hons.) at Vivekananda College for Women, Kolkata.
It is the grievance of the petitioner that the marks obtained by her in the tutorial/internal examination of "Comparative Government and politics" paper have not been properly uploaded by the college on the relevant portal of the university.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner has drawn attention of this Court to a letter dated October 17, 2023, issued by the Departmental incharge, Department of Political Science of the College to the Controller of Examination, University of Calcutta, intimating that the petitioner had obtained 12 marks in the tutorial/internal examination. In that view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Principal of the College to forward the marks obtained by the petitioner in the tutorial/internal examination of "Comparative Government and Politics" paper within a period of 7 (seven) days from date to the Controller of Examination, University of Calcutta. The Controller of Examination, University of Calcutta accordingly, on the basis of communication made by the Principal of the College shall issue a rectified mark-sheet of the petitioner.
WPA 10046 of 2024 is disposed of.
