Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the police authorities have not acted on the complaint.

State has submitted a report which reflects that the police authorities have already registered a case being Lalgola Police Station Case No.

572/2023 dated 04.12.2023 wherein investigation of the case is in progress. Prayers have been advanced to the BL & LRO, Lalgola Block. The same is being pursued.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondent nos. 4 to 8 submits that the private respondents have appeared before the court and were granted bail.

Having regard to the fact that the petitioner approached this Court with a prayer that his complaint was not addressed by the police authorities and I find from the report that the

investigation of the case is in progress, I am of the view that further pendency of the writ petition before this Court is unwarranted.

The petitioner is directed to submit a prayer, if so advised, before the jurisdictional Magistrate regarding progress of the investigation after a period of 45 days from date. The learned Magistrate would call for a report and inform regarding the outlines of the progress to the petitioner who being aggrieved has approached this Court.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 10050 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
