The present revisional application has been preferred for quashing of the proceedings relating to Misc. Criminal Case No. 194 of 2020 under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barrackpore.

The present revisional application was preferred on 18th June, 2021. A co-ordinate Bench of this court refused to grant any interim order. Prima facie, it appears that a case has been made out for trial. As such, no interference is called for. The petitioner would be at liberty to canvass the points at the appropriate stage of the trial before the learned trial court.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 1272 of 2021 is disposed of.
