Mr. Anjan Bhattacharya, Ms. Anita Shaw, Ms. Taniya Khatun ...for the Petitioner Mr. Kanailal Samanta ...for the Respondent No. 4 It is the grievance of the petitioner that her prayer for Child Care Leave has not been considered by the college.

Mr. Samanta, learned advocate appearing for the college submits that the petitioner had made an application before the college for Child Care Leave without mentioning the period for which the leave was sought. Therefore, the college was not in a position to grant the Leave.

This writ petition should not be kept pending before this Court unnecessarily.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the petitioner to make a fresh application for Child Care Leave within three days from date specifying the period for which the leave is sought. The

Principal/Governing Body of the College will consider such prayer in accordance with law within a period of one week from date.

WPA 9253 of 2023 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
