The writ petition is taken up for consideration subsequent to the order dated July 16, 2021.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner reported to the police station as directed on July 16, 2021 and that the petitioner is in his residence at the present moment.

Learned advocate for the petitioner also submits that, the charge-sheet in the proceeding was submitted without taking into account the medical report. He submits that, the right to take appropriate steps in respect of such charge-sheet be retained.

The State is represented.

Report submitted by the State is taken on record. In the facts of the present case, it would be appropriate to dispose of the writ petition.

This order will, however, not prevent the petitioner from taking appropriate steps with regard to the charge-sheet, in accordance with law.

WPA 10364 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly without any order as to costs.
