Considering the averments contained in the affidavit of compliance filed by the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Haripal, which is taken on record, and after going through the original records produced by the learned advocate for the State respondents, we are of the view that the order of the tribunal has been complied with by the authorities concerned. It appears that on February 9, 2017, the writ petitioner appeared before the authorities concerned, but he refused to exercise option for retention of the land in question.

In view thereof, we do not find any reason to interfere with the order passed by the tribunal.

The writ application is, accordingly, dismissed without, however, any order as to costs.

The original record produced on behalf of the State respondents is returned to Mr. Chandi Charan De, learned advocate representing the State.

Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, will be made available to the applicant within a week from the date of putting in the requisite.
