The report of the Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar, Nadia, indicates that the respondent No.10 was erroneously selected as an ASHA for Sonadanga Majherpara Service Area, although she was not a resident of the village Sonadanga Majherpara, but a resident of Sonadanga Maniktalapara.

Thus, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar, Nadia, Member Secretary of the ASHA Selection Committee, to take necessary steps with regard to the alleged engagement of the respondent No.10, which was found to be erroneous and fill up the

post in accordance with law and in terms of the regulations.

Such steps shall be taken within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order. A copy of the writ petition along with a server copy of this order be served upon the Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar, Nadia.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
