However, the complaint which was filed by the petitioner has been acted upon by the police authorities.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Dhaniakhali P.S. Case No. 15 of 2025 dated 17.01.2025 was registered for investigation and, on completion of investigation, Charge-sheet was submitted in connection with the said case.

Another complaint was lodged, subsequent to which, Dhaniakhali P.S.

Case No. 148 of 2025 dated 02.05.2025 has been registered for investigation and the investigation of the said case is in progress.

Having considered that the police authorities have already taken steps, I am of the view that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

However, the police authorities would ensure that the investigation of the case is taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 9397 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
