1. None appears for the petitioner at the time of call.

2. It is seen that on the last occasion when the matter was called on for hearing, that is, on January 10, 2025 as well, an adjournment was sought on behalf of the petitioner. Despite the extension of time for filing reply till the next returnable date, till date no such affidavit-in-reply has been filed, nor is the petitioner represented.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the alleged contemnor hands over photocopies of documents indicating that the compensation amount has been disbursed to the petitioner in terms of the order under contempt. Such documents are kept on record.

4. In view of the contempt having been purged by compliance with the order-in-question, there is no further necessity to keep the contempt application pending.

5. Accordingly, CPAN 164 of 2022 is dismissed as infructuous.

6. Pending applications in connection with the contempt application, if any, also stand disposed of accordingly.

7. There will be no order as to costs.
