The petitioner has sought for direction upon the respondents, their men, agents and assignees to the electricity connection of the private respondent no. 4 at plot no. 4711, Mouza - Hatgobindapur, Area - 1 1⁄2 sattak out of 7 sattak, J.L. - 136, District - Purba Burdwan within stipulated period.

Mrs. Bandana Basu, Learned Counsel for the respondent nos. 1 to 3 submits that neither the petitioner nor the private respondent no. 5, Biswajit Dutta are consumers under the respondent nos. 1 to

3. It is also pointed out that the respondent no. 4 is also not the private respondent against whom the direction has been sought for in this writ application and, therefore, this writ application is not at all maintainable.

I do find from the cause title of the writ application that Officer-in-Charge, Saktigarh Police Station is arrayed as respondent no. 4 but he is not the private respondent against whom the petitioner has sought for direction. The prayer portion made in the writ petition would reveal that the petitioner has

described the respondent no 4 as private respondent. This Court does not find any reason to entertain this writ application because the petitioner has not even mentioned the electric meter sought to be removed from his premises in the writ application with supporting the documents.

Hence, the writ application being WPA/10371/2021 is dismissed, however, without any order as to cost.
