The grievance of the writ petitioner is that the private respondents have illegally demolished the boundary wall of the property of the writ petitioner. The writ petitioner lodged a complaint before the police authority. The writ petitioner complains that the police authorities have not taken any step on the basis of the complaint lodged by the petitioner.

The learned Advocate of the private respondent submits that the police authorities have already initiated Mahishadal Police Station Case No.99 of 2020 dated 29th May, 2020 as stated in paragraph 6 of the writ petition. Hence, the allegation of the writ petitioner that the police authorities have not taken any step is without any basis. Mr. Bari, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the State submits that after completion of investigation of the case, Mahishadal P.S. Chargesheet

No.95/20 dated 24.06.2020 under Section 447/341/323/379/427/354 Indian Penal Code and adding Section 411 Indian Penal Code has been submitted.

After hearing the learned Advocates of the respective parties and upon consideration of the materials on record, I am of the view that the grievance of the petitioner that the police authorities have not taken any step on the basis of the complaint lodged by him is without any basis. There is no merit in the writ petition and the same is accordingly dismissed. With the dismissal of WPA 6918 of 2020, the connected application being IA No. CAN 1 of 2020 is also disposed of accordingly.
