1. In terms of the order dated 18th June, 2025 matter is taken up for consideration when learned advocate representing State respondents has filed a communication of the District Inspector of Schools (SE), South 24 Parganas dated 12th June, 2025 and same is taken on record.

2. On perusal of said communication dated 12th June, 2025 it appears that prayer of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground was rejected vide Memo No. 955/Gen dated 16th August, 2022. Said memo dated 16th August, 2022 is enclosed to this report.

3. In the present writ petition though prayer has been made for appointment on compassionate ground but no challenge has been thrown to this memo

dated 16th August, 2022 which was addressed to the petitioner. It is submitted by the learned advocate representing the petitioner that said memo was not communicated to him.

4. Learned advocate representing the State respondents is directed to supply copy of memo dated 16th August, 2022 to the learned advocate representing the petitioner in course of this day.

5. Since memo dated 16th August, 2022 is not under challenge in this writ petition no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

6. Writ petition stands dismissed.

7. However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law against said memo dated 16th August, 2022 by which prayer of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground was rejected.

8. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
