Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed a divorce suit against the opposite parties, in which the opposite parties also filed a counter-claim. In the meantime, the records of the case were destroyed due to a fire but were subsequently reconstructed.

Keeping in view the inherent urgency involved in any matrimonial proceeding and the comparatively young age of the parties,

CO No. 1144 of 2021 is disposed of by requesting the Additional District Judge, Thirteenth Court at Aliopre, District: South 24 Parganas to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No.2688 of 2019, along with the counterclaim filed therein, as expeditiously as the business of the court permits, but positively within one year from the date of communication of this order to the court below.

There will be no order as to costs.

The petitioner shall communicate this order to the opposite parties as well as the trial court, as early as possible.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
