The petitioner seeks transfer relying upon an order of transfer dated 26th February, 2021.

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent authorities including the District Primary School Council and the Additional Secretary, Elementary Education Branch, School Education Department has confirmed that the said order of transfer is a fake one and the then Secretary of the Government of West Bengal, School Education Department (Elementary Education Branch) had informed through electronic mail that the transfer order dated 26th February, 2021 was totally fake and he requested the DPSC not to take any action on the said memo.

In view of the aforesaid disclosed facts, no direction can be passed upon the respondent authorities to act upon a fake communication. The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
