The subject matter of challenge in this revisional application relates to quashing of a proceeding under Section 144(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure pending before the learned Executive Magistrate, Dargupur in M.P. Case No.503 of 2017.

Having regard to the statutory limitations in respect of the time limit for which the provisions of Section 144(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure is to be applied, I am of the opinion that the proceedings being MP. Case no.503 of 2017 has become infructuous.

Accordingly, no interference is called for.

Thus, CRR 1363 of 2018 is dismissed.

All pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.

Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
