Petitioner is aggrieved by the judgment and order dated 16th March, 2023 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, FTC-3, Barrackpore in Criminal Revision No. 114 of 2023. By the said judgement and order, the learned sessions court while exercising its revisional jurisdiction in connection with the order dated 16th December, 2021 in M. Case No. 93 of 2021 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st court, Barrackpore modified the order of maintenance from Rs.8000/- per month to be paid to the daughter to Rs.10,000/- per month. Learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st court, Barrackpore was pleased to award maintenance of Rs.10,000/- per month to the wife/petitioner and Rs.8000/- per month to the minor daughter. Having regard to the status of the private opposite party i.e., father of the minor child being a Lieutenant Colonel in the

Army, I am of the view that no interference be made so far as the quantum of Rs.10,000/- awarded to the wife, but so far as the minor child is concerned the sum of maintenance should be enhanced to Rs.20,000/- per month. Since the subject matter of the order which is under challenge is of 16th March, 2023, the amount of Rs.20,000/- which is presently directed by this court is to be paid to the minor child will take effect from 16th March, 2023. With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 1417 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending applications, if any, are consequently hereby disposed of.
