This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioners are aggrieved by the in action on the part of the respondent authorities in implementation of the benefits under the Cyclone Bulbul Relief Scheme.

I have heard learned Counsel appearing on behalf of all the parties and perused the materials placed on record. This Court directs the respondent No. 5, being the Block Development Officer, Patharpratima Block, District - South 24-Parganas, to consider the representation made by the petitioners and pass a reasoned order within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order after granting an opportunity of hearing to the representative of the petitioners. Respondent No. 5 is directed to communicate the reasoned order to the petitioner within two weeks from the date of passing the reasoned order. With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed.

Since, no affidavit-in-opposition has been called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have not been admitted by the respondents.

There will be no order as to costs.
