Mr. Chakraborty, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and files supplementary affidavit on leave obtained. He submits, his client has affirmed this affidavit saying, inter alia, he does not want to proceed with this writ petition.

Mr. Saha, learned advocate appears on behalf of State and draws attention to order dated 16th October, 2020 made by coordinate Bench (Abhijit Gangopadhyay, J.). He submits, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) was directed to investigate and report in a sealed cover to the Registrar General. The report has been filed. Mr. Panda, learned advocate appears on behalf of the

Corporation and files report in form of affidavit, also directed by said order. Mr. Mukherjee, learned advocate appears on behalf of private respondents and confirms, there has been settlement between petitioner and his clients as has been stated in the supplementary affidavit. There has been laid note dated 8th December, 2020 by the Registrar General submitting report of CID in sealed cover.

The writ petition is dismissed as not pressed. Parties are at liberty to take inspection of the report, opened now and kept with the file.
