1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioner seeks interest on arrear payment on account of pay revision. Arrears have been paid. What remains is the interest.

3. Let the interest be calculated on the said arrears for the period from 1st April, 1997 to 31st March, 2000 @ 7% per annum.

4. It is expected that the payment is made within a period of one month from date.

5. It is also made clear that in default of payment as indicated above, rate of interest shall be 12%.

6. The writ petition is disposed of.

7. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
