Mr. Imran Ali Ms. Suruchi Saha ..for the State From the First Information Report as well as the statements collected, it appears that the incident took place in public view and witnessed by others. A prima facie case is, thus, made out under the provision of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. Therefore, the application for anticipatory bail cannot be entertained.

In view of the same and in view of the incriminating materials available in the case diary, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.
