The petitioner has instituted this writ petition on April 17, 2023, expressing grievance in conducting 12th Regional Level Selection Test (AT) 2011. According to the learned Advocate representing the petitioner, on diluting merit, candidate, ranked in the merit list after the petitioner, was selected for being appointed in the post of Assistant Teacher. The petitioner prays for appropriate direction upon the Commission in order to appraise her candidature and to select her for being appointed as an Assistant Teacher based on her participation in 12th RLST, 2011.

The panel, which was prepared in connection with 12th RLST, 2011, expired on March 24, 2015 whereas the writ petition was filed on April 17, 2023. It is trite that after expiry of the panel, the candidate

who participated in the selection process, does not have right to be considered in connection with the particular selection process i.e. 12th RLST, 2011. In view of aforesaid situation, no relief can be granted to the petitioner since the petitioner has approached this Court on presenting this writ petition approximately eight years after expiry of the panel. The writ petition stands dismissed.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
