After hearing the submissions of the parties and after considering the report filed by the State in this matter by learned advocate Mr. Chandi Charan Dey it is found that some miscreants have been arrested in respect of the criminal case being Haldia P.S. Case No. 61 of 2019 dated 25th June, 2019. It is clearly a matter covered under penal law of the land and proceeding under the penal law has already been initiated. This Court is not inclined to interfere in this matter and the writ application is dismissed.

However, this dismissal will not jeopardise in any manner whatsoever the criminal case which is being proceeded with in the appropriate Court of Law.

The report filed by the State dated 13th September, 2020 be kept on record.

W.P.A. 6963 of 2020 along with CAN 1 of 2020 is dismissed without any order as to costs. (Abhijit Gangopadhyay, J.)
